If you are having any paranormal issues and need some help, we provide professional, confidential no cost investigations. Here is what to expect if you were to contact us for help: Investigations are FREE of charge.

First contact us via email and an investigator will contact you in any way you prefer (phone or email). Our investigation services are always free of charge!

We will first answer any and all questions you might have about us and our procedures. If you feel comfortable enough to want to go further, we will contact you for a phone interview. During this interview we will find out just what type of activity you are experiencing and some history about the location. After the phone interview our research team will try to find any further history about your location that might link to the haunting. Having history that directly links to the encounter you are having helps to set up a firm foundation for any paranormal evidence we may collect. During this time we will ask you to keep a journal of any encounters and experiences that have been happening. Once all of this is accomplished we are ready to start the active investigation. A small team of professionals will come in at a time that is both convenient for you and pertinent to the times the phenomena is occurring. We use a scientific method and will bring in equipment to document anomalies that we find. If you have any questions about this equipment our team leader will be happy to answer and we encourage you to ask away! Once the location investigation is complete our team members will need some time to go over any evidence that is collected. After all evidence is evaluated and processed, we will put together a report and our team leader will meet with you once again to go over all findings. You are able to ask any questions you may have about anything you have experienced along this process. You will be given a copy of the report and any evidence we have collected. Photos, EVP, Video or anything at all you always get a copy for your own records. If you wish to schedule a follow up investigation we will be happy to do so.

January, 2007. The investigation location was asked to be kept confidential. This home sits next to an old cemetery. On the property itself they have found broken headstones but there is no evidence that there were bodies buried on the property. The homeowner was experiencing noises, bad dreams, a feeling of someone watching them and seeing a man in modern clothes walking in the living room and then vanish.

We got one EVP of someone sighing, but it’s a class B and difficult to make out. Two separate groups when in the basement reported feelings of sadness. We had high EMF spikes here and Temp drops. The only photographic anomalies that we captured were orbs and all were most likely caused by dust. The house was about 25 years old, but no real history of anything out of the normal could be found.

We visited the Bell Witch Cave and Property June, 2006. I had always been interested in this case and decided to make the trip down from Indiana. I have a bit of advice, please if you are going here call ahead. If it has been raining the cave floods and you will not be able to get in. The whole area is beautiful though so the trip was pleasant! We started the day with a tour of the cabin. This is not the original cabin, but the tour gives a lot of history about the events. I felt the most in the Cave and that is the real interesting part of the whole investigation for me. Above the cave is an Indiana Burial Ground and the remains have been examined by an anthropologist and determined to be over 5000 years old. There is a burial spot inside the cave as well, but it wasn’t originally there. We didn’t get much scientific evidence but many had feelings. Unfortunately nothing tangible. Maybe next time!

UPDATE: We returned to investigate in 2008 and again, we did not find any tangible evidence of a haunting. I stress, if you are going to visit the Bell Witch Cave, call ahead. We nearly did not get to go in because of lack of staff. I did call ahead 1 month to make sure they knew how many were being brought, the time and the date, and because the race was on, and there was only one staff who wanted to see the race, we nearly lost our opportunity.

Prospect Place was an amazing experience! We were there in May of 2007 and the history alone was worth the trip. The location has a basement, main floor, upper floor and above that a ballroom and a cupola at the very top of the building where there would be a look-out for bounty hunters. The home was used as a stop on the Underground Railroad and as a hospital stop when a train had crashed. The location had other tragic deaths that were mourned such as that of the daughter who’s spirit has been seen near where the second floor balcony had been and some that were not mourned such as the slave hunters and bounty hunters that were hung in the barn.

We had many encounters such as hearing a young girl laugh and run on the stairs, a strong feeling near the sick room, we all heard footsteps in the barn but none of our recorders picked it up and the sight of a possible shadow encounter in the basement. We plan to go back again soon. We were excited to see the place on TAPS the following year!

UPDATE: We are returning in August of 2010 to see what we find on this trip. I will post it here when we process our evidence.

We returned to the Bell Witch Cave this year (May of 2008) with a group of 6. Again I stress, if you are going, call ahead. Only 2 of us had been there before so we again did the cabin tour, besides it helps support the owners. Then off to the cave. Nothing really amazing happened again this trip. Some orbs showed up, but most were dust and moisture from the cave. Lots of cave spiders!! A few orbs that could not be explained, but I am not quick to call them paranormal. We had a few odd feelings near the opening again. It seems to me that it is a real point of interest. I have done some study on the location and some leaders in the field feel this is a portal haunting. I will need to do more research and maybe another visit. I again didn’t get anything substantial when it came to any tangible evidence. It is still a nice trip!

Paranormal Sciences takes every opportunity to work with Historical Societies. We understand that these organizations have limited funding and are in need of creative ways to raise monies. With the Ghost Hunting craze that has happened in the recent years, setting up ghost hunting classes, overnights and more are ways that we can help. Our group is also willing to help with grunt work : repairs and cleaning! The more we can get the communities interested in protecting the historical locations they have, the better we feel the community is!
